On January 31, Serhii Morhunov took part in the Business Forum "Rapid Recovery of Ukraine" in Luxembourg at the invitation of the organizers. The main goal of the event was to attract broad international investment to rebuild postwar Ukraine. The mayor wrote about this on his Facebook page and Telegram channel.

The Forum was held under the patronage of the Prime Minister's Office of Luxembourg in cooperation with the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the main sponsors: ArcelorMittal, Clearstream, the European Investment Bank and others. It was attended by speakers from the Ukrainian government and business, as well as major foreign investors. The event was opened by Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel and Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

"The discussion is at the highest level. Among the participants of the forum are the Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Luxembourg, investors and donors, government officials and parliamentarians, and business representatives. During the panel discussion, I had the opportunity to share my vision for the further transformation of the country and Ukrainian communities," wrote Serhii Morhunov.

The forum discussed the key needs of post-war Ukraine and opportunities for investment in various areas, including infrastructure, technology, energy, agriculture and food security, and human capital.

The mayor emphasized that reconstruction should focus on housing reconstruction and modernization of energy infrastructure, and noted that it is necessary to create safe and favorable conditions for business in parallel.

The mayor emphasized that investments will create new jobs.

"Any investment is primarily about creating jobs. And each employee and their family must have proper living conditions, including quality healthcare and education, convenient infrastructure, and recreational opportunities. Therefore, we must create modern ecosystems according to European standards, as Ukraine is moving towards EU membership as a candidate," wrote Serhii Morhunov.

The mayor also expressed confidence that it is thanks to a powerful coalition of civilized countries that a quick and effective result in the restoration of Ukraine will be achieved.

"We understand that the longer this unjust war lasts, the more time and resources will be needed to rebuild everything. Unfortunately, nothing will bring back the lives lost. We continue to fight on all fronts. Everything will be Ukraine!" wrote Serhii Morhunov.
