The other day a 262 kW generator was delivered to Vinnytsia from the Czech capital for backup power supply. It will be needed to power critical infrastructure in the event of a power outage. Vinnytsia Mayor Serhii Morhunov announced this in his Telegram channel and on his Facebook page.
"The unit was transferred from the Czech Republic. I am grateful to the Representation of the International Diplomatic Mission for Public Diplomacy in the Czech Republic, Head Volodymyr Kosmyna and his Deputy Vadym Kyrnychnyi for their much-needed assistance. Let me remind you that in April this year, our city signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Mission and we already have the result of joint work," said Serhii Morhunov.
He also added that the generator was delivered from Prague by the municipality. It worked for the local water utility and is designed to solve energy problems at large industrial sites.
"Our experts say: the unit is in excellent technical condition. Municipal facilities have not yet had such equipment. Therefore, in case of emergencies, it can be used for boilers, water utilities, hospitals, etc. We do everything to ensure stability in the city and for residents to receive uninterrupted services, and we will continue cooperation with our partners from the Czech Republic. Together to victory!" he added.
Volodymyr Kosmyna, Head of the International Diplomatic Mission of Public Diplomacy in the Czech Republic, hopes that this unit will be able to help Vinnytsia if needed.
“In any city, the task of the government is to provide stability to the community and to establish coordinated work so that people feel that there is power in the city. We will continue to help Vinnytsia," Volodymyr Kosmyna said.
